Want to jump on a chic scooter and ride away? Here's a deal you can't go past: Honda are offering a free scooter cover, heavy-duty bike lock and $100 fuel card with any new scooter purchased before 30 November 2008.

And just to spell out how much $100 will go – Honda's scooters use an average of 1 litre of fuel per 50km, so you'll get around 3330km from the $100 voucher (calculating at $1.50 a litre of fuel).

Customers who choose to finance will also be offered an additional $100 fuel card on top of the initial $100 bonus, meaning customers will ride for free for at least the first few months, depending on distance traveled.

Starting at just $1,490, the cost of running a 50cc Honda scooter is less than half that of an economy car and comes in at around $50 per week including loan repayments (if applicable), registration and maintenance.

For your nearest dealer call 1300 1 Honda.
