They might sound like The Dixie Chicks meets Kelly Clarkson, but The McClymonts play second fiddle to no one.

After the success of their first two albums, The McClymonts took on Nashville and had a stellar time, winning the Country Music Association (CMA) Global Country Artist Award. Now the sisterhood that proved that country music is more than just boot-scooting and banjos, have returned to their homeland to release their third album, Two Worlds Collide.

Can anybody else say, ‘Yee-ha!’

‘Two Worlds Collide’ sure is a collision - country, pop, rhythm, riffs, blues and banjos. Even if you're not the biggest fan of country music, you can't deny these girls are far from country bumpkins and their music represents that. This album is sometimes sweet, sometimes reflective and sometimes gritty. Whether you need to wallow in ‘The Easy Part’ with a glass of red or pound your anger out on the pavement with ‘How Long Have You Known’. This is the kind of music you play very loud on very long stretches of road after very messy breakups - cowgirl hat optional.

Two Worlds Collide is available now through Universal music.

We are giving away five copies of The McClymont’s ‘Two Worlds Collide’. Visit our competition section to enter!
