If you don't know, Craig Wing is the hunky half-back who plays for the South Sydney Rabbitohs rugby team. (Plus FYI: he was the 2000 CLEO magazine Bachelor of the Year!) We caught up with the man himself and gave him a Lexus IS 250 to review for AutoChic! Here's what he had to say about the sexy-Lexy...

Three words to best describe this car:

Firm, quiet, conservative.

Stand-out features:

The 'Smart' keyless sensor system. It's also very smooth and quiet to drive while the handling is still quite firm. The finish is very good considering the price tag. I really like the sat nav system it uses.

Steering can lack a little feel to it, especially driving at slower speed, but generally it's fine. Pedals and steering wheel are well positioned. The handling is great, the suspension is firm but smooth and the brakes are very responsive, though initially some people might find them a little touchy. It has a classy and expensive feel when driving and is very quiet. Lacks a little torque for my liking though.

Who would this car best be suited for?

A professional in their mid-to-late-30s with a young family. It's a well-presented car with all the necessary luxury items, relatively conservative and is good value for money.

Ideal road trip for the IS 250?

Idea road trip would be a cruise around the Hunter Valley with the girlfriend.

Best soundtrack for this car:

Vivaldi, Four Seasons.

Which movie can you best imagine the IS 250 playing a starring role in?

A comedy or drama. I could imagine an awkward gibbering Hugh Grant driving this car in one of those movies where he's the accidental hero (all Hugh Grant movies – take your pick!).

Suggested nick-name for this baby?

Miss Magenta.

If you could choose 4 passengers, who would they be and why?

1. Hamish Blake – in case his radio show isn't on the dial.

2. Kelly Slater – to show me where the surf is and because he's a dead-set legend.

3. Paris Hilton – for light conversation.

4. Robert Downey Junior – for bringing his sexy back!
