What do you like about this car?

With a growing family, we wanted a larger car... especially on the inside as my husband is 6-foot-5, and with a baby you have the car seat, baby toys to entertain and need room to fit the pram along with enough room for shopping and anything else to go in the boot.

Also being a singer, an important sound system is a must and the sound system in the Murano is fabulous.

Being a SUV, it's surprisingly good on petrol compared to other larger cars and that, because of the rising cost of petrol, was also an important factor when we chose it.

Any stand-out features?

The leg room and space between all passengers so long road trips aren't cramped, the sound system and ease of driving.

Was there anything you don't like about this car?

It would be the type of metal used on the console and in between the 2 front seats – it's not that durable and looks like it could be easily scuffed (time will tell) and reverse parking is a little tricky with a blind-spot but I'm sure once we get used to the feeling of the car it'll be fine as we've only just bought it!

Two words to describe the Nissan Murano:

Spacious and comfortable.

Describe your style:Tiffani wood

I like to be comfortable, whether it be clothing or on a comfy couch, but the look also has to be individual and stylish.

Does this car suit your style?

Definitely, as I think the car is 100-per-cent comfortable. Sometimes, when in the passenger seat, I feel like I'm flying first class with the height, space and quiet drive... and I haven't seen that many on the road so I like to think it's individual.

Who would you recommend this car to?

Smaller or growing families, people who love space, tall or big people, and people who go on a lot of road trips or longer journeys.

Anything else you'd like to say about it?

We got a wonderful deal with our car and found that going out of Sydney to the regional dealers gives you better barter power. They really want your business as opposed to the Sydney dealers as there are so many people here so head out to Newcastle or Wollongong. We got our car at Warrawong Nissan (near Wollongong) so if you want a great deal, head there and ask for Mendo :P

What's new for you?

ATM I've just released my first children's album. It's a lullaby album called 'Acoustic Dreams – Lullabies for Babies' to give babies, or even people who have trouble getting to sleep, a better night's rest. It's been number-1 on the children's iTunes since release and is just about to be released in New Zealand, which is exciting. You can read more at www.myspace.com/acousticdreamslullaby It's also a great play in the car to settle little ones if you have one that doesn't like car rides or if it's a longer journey. I've also just launched a new website called www.mummylush.com. It's a website made just for women, helping them to lose weight post-pregnancy, steady their weight during pregnancy or just to keep the average person fit, really whichever they need but without the big expense of having a personal trainer. It's like an online personal trainer at your finger-tips, and with workouts you can do at home, in the park or at the gym, it's great for all types of lifestyles and budgets.

[Editor's note: Please note that the Nissan Murano hasn't been tested by ANCAP or Euro NCAP and the safety rating of '4' is an estimated rating.]
