Autochic Privacy Policy

1. RESPECTING YOUR PRIVACY

Autochic Pty Limited ("autochic") recognises that privacy of personal information is important to our customers and therefore our respect for your right to privacy is paramount.

2. LEGISLATIVE REQUIREMENTS

Autochic is committed to the protection of privacy and supports the National Privacy Principles which set clear standards for the collection, access, storage and use of personal information which we obtain as part of our business operations. 3. INFORMATION HANDLING PRACTICES

   1. Collection of Personal Information

      1. Autochic will only collect personal information where it is necessary for it to be used in connection with the provision of its products and services or to meet any legal obligations imposed on Autochic.

      2. The personal information Autochic holds about you will depend on the services you request from Autochic and the use that you make of those services.

      3. Autochic will use only fair and lawful means to collect personal information and take reasonable steps to make you aware of why Autochic is collecting the information, who will have access to that information, how it will be used and any legal requirement which requires Autochic to collect the information.

      4. Where is reasonable and practicable to do so, Autochic will collect any necessary personal information from you directly.

   2. Use and Disclosure

      1. Autochic will only use or disclose information about you for the purpose of providing Autochic products and services or where otherwise legally required.

      2. Autochic treats your personal information as strictly private and confidential and will not trade, rent or sell your personal information to any third parties. We will not disclose your personal information under any circumstances unless:

         1. Autochic have advised you of this upon our collection of the information or otherwise obtained your consent;

         2. Autochic is required to do so by law; or

         3. the information is required to be transferred as part of the sale of a business or business division.

      3. Autochic may also use your personal information to tell you about other products and services provided by Autochic in conjunction with either our related bodies corporate or our business partners or associates.    3. Data Quality

      The accuracy of your personal information is important to us. Autochic will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You may request for information about you to be corrected, if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Where requested, Autochic will take reasonable steps to correct the information.

   4. Data Security

      1. Autochic will take all reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is protected from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

      2. Autochic will take all reasonable steps to destroy personal information which is no longer needed for any purpose for which the information may be used according to this Privacy Policy.

   5. Openness

      Upon your request, Autochic will take all reasonable steps to inform you of what personal information we hold, for what purpose and how we collect, hold, use and disclose that information.

   6. Access and Correction

      1. You may request access to the personal information that Autochic holds about you at any time. Autochic may charge you a fee to cover the costs of retrieval and copying which will not be excessive and will not apply to lodging a request for access.

      2. Autochic may deny you access to personal information where legislation permits us to do so.

   7. Identifier

      Autochic will not adopt as a means of identifying you, any identifier that has been assigned to you by a Commonwealth Government Agency.

   8. Anonymity

      Autochic will, where it is lawful and practicable, permit you to enter into a transaction with Autochic even if you elect not to identify yourself to Autochic.

   9. Transborder Data Flows

      Autochic will not transfer your information to a recipient overseas unless you consent, we are required to do so by law or it is required in the course of the provision of services to you and Autochic reasonably believes that the recipient of your information upholds the principles for fair handling of information which are similar to the National Privacy Principles.

   10. Sensitive Information

       Autochic will not collect, use or disclose sensitive information about you (such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, memberships, religious beliefs, sexual preference, health or criminal record) unless you consent, where it is allowed by law or circumstances where it is required in the course of the provision of services to you.

4. REVIEW OF PRIVACY POLICY

   Autochic reserves its right to review and amend this policy from time to time.

5. CONTACTING US AND ACCESSING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
