Kiss and catch, anyone?

'Twas the day before Valentines
And all over the straight
The brides were a-running
To capture their mate.
In full wedding regalia
And with rules to abide
The runners are ready
For the Running of the Brides!
As part of the racing programme at Eagle Farm (230 Lancaster Road, Ascot, Brisbane), at 1.45pm on Saturday February 13, Brisbane B105 radio station's Labby, Camilla & Stav are playing cupid by unleashing 100 brides down the straight to catch just one man; Daniel (29) from Holland Park. Whoever catches him, gets to keep him... sort of!
The fastest bride will score a trip for two to Las Vegas to hitch up with Daniel and his mate. While the Vegas trip is a just a relationship starter, B105's Labby, Camilla & Stav and their listeners would love to hear that the happy couple have paid a visit to the famous Little White Wedding Chapel!
This all came about when B105s Labby, Camilla & Stav saw the dire gender statistics in Brisbane. (Some have it at seven single women to every one single male in this city). OK, so they got their sums wrong and have now effectively raised the odds to 100:1, but its one hell of a stunt on the eve of Valentine's Day 2010!
The bachelor form-guide goes something like this:
Name: Daniel
Age: 29
Lives: Holland Park.
Occupation: Video store manager
Hobbies: Makes short films on the side and plays touch footy.
Wake up with B105's Labby, Camilla & Stav weekdays from 6am-9am.
