Men Still Driving Women Crazy Behind the Wheel

If you’ve ever driven a car with your partner in the passenger seat and felt your stress levels rising - you’re not alone.
A recent survey by Aviva - the UK’s largest car insurer - found more than 50 percent of female drivers feel stressed when their partners are in the car with them, while only 10 percent of male drivers felt this way.
Does the “fairer-sex” stereo-type still ring true and women really are more sensitive than men? Or are 50 percent of males bullying their female partners’ driving styles?
We’ll never know the exact answers to these questions however we can glean a little more understanding from the survey’s other results. For example - the 10 percent of males who said they wouldn’t let their lady-friends drive their cars cited reasons such as their car being too powerful or their partners’ driving abilities leaving a lot to be desired.
So, could you say that almost 10 percent of male drivers are a little tough on their partners? The women stood their ground with the survey results, letting it be known they too take issue with their partners’ driving - mainly the speeding, driving recklessly and good ol’ male machismo and both sexes are equally unimpressed with each other’s parking skills! Interestingly enough, despite women doing most of the school runs and taking the designated driver role more often their partners, the survey showed it’s still men who do the majority of the driving.
Some things never change...
