David Beckham Sells Customised Car on eBay

With the paps sure to be on their tail after the announcement of a fourth child on the way, the Beckhams have decided to sell David’s customised matte black Porsche on eBay.

For a cool US$162,200, anyone can own a slice of the famous couple with bids rising daily for the 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo Convertible AWD.

The car is just one of the sexy rides owned by the Beckhams. Others include a Cadillac Escalade, Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, and a Range Rover Sport.

David also has a penchant for Aston Martins, Bentleys and Ferraris with Beckham famously turning down an offer of a free Ferrari from Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo in 2005, citing his reason as he “already owned one”.

But the cars aren’t all for show – a few years ago David bought an armour-plated BMW X5 after a kidnapping scare with his son Brooklyn. The car was used mainly by the family’s security team, until it was stolen.

And a love of cars doesn’t stop with David, with wife Victoria recently signing on to Range Rover as the company’s Creative Design Executive, and the couple’s three sons also own miniature versions of luxury cars including one Beckham bought for his son Brooklyn – a £6,000 miniature Porsche.
