Following her #1 Gold hit single This Is Who I Am, homegrown songstress Vanessa Amorosi's highly anticipated album Hazardous, became her third ARIA Top 10 album debuting at #7 this week. It was also the week's highest album debut by an Australian artist.
In addition, This Is Who I Am became the most played song on Australian radio as it reached the top spot on the National Airplay Chart this week (The Music Network).
Vanessa soon heads to Los Angeles to film the video for her second single and title track Hazardous. Behind the lens will be director Paul Brown who has worked with the likes of Prince and Alicia Keys and who shot Hoobastank's single The Letter, which featured Vanessa. Hazardous will be serviced to Australian radio next week on November 23.
On Saturday November 28, Sydney fans will be able to meet Vanessa as she performs songs from and signs copies of her new album Hazardous at Warringah Mall from 1pm. Vanessa then sets out on tour in February 2010 as special guest for Rob Thomas.
