The cool, sauve and sensitive Chris Isaak is known - and loved - for singing about his feelings but on his latest album, 'Beyond the Sun', he looks to the old-timers for inspiration.

'Beyond the Sun' is Chris Isaak's musical salute to his idols as he lends his smooth-as-honey voice to all his - and your - favourite classics, including Great Balls of Fire, Can't Help Falling In Love, I Walk The Line, Ring of Fire and Pretty Woman. Isaak tops it all off with a rockin' original tune, Live It Up, that will surely end up on your favourites playlist as well. 

Needless to say, we love us some Chris Isaak (is he not the perfect man?) and turns out he loves us back, which is why 'Beyond the Sun' is being released here in Australia ahead of everywhere else. Not only that, but there is deluxe edition of the album which was designed specifically for us Antipodeans and features 8 additional tracks plus a 20-page booklet with liner notes and photos - just be careful not to drool all over them!

The album went on sale October 7.
