Try these tips and tricks to keep your car looking chic!

TIP 1.

Wash your car once a week to stop bird and insect poo, etc. from ruining the paint. Tip: save water (and effort!) by parking it out in the rain.

TIP 2.

Wax or polish your car every 2-4 months for extra shine and to stop the paint from fading (the wax acts like a UV sunscreen).

TIP 3.

Cover any paint scratches and chips with touch-up paint. Use the paint code number on the ID plate (should be on the door but look it up in the owner's manual if it's not).

TIP 4.

Tint the windows to minimise that eye-squinting glare.

TIP 5.

Repair or replace any wrinkly, worn and stained upholstery.

TIP 6.

Do our Monthly DIY Car Maintenance Check.

TIP 7.

Get new wiper blades every year to avoid smeary, screechy and j-j-jittery wiper blades.

TIP 8.

Pump up the tyres every 2-4 weeks to keep the ride safe, smooth and cheaper on fuel. Check out our Zen For Your Tyres article for more info.
