Women are Better at Parking Than Men

Pop the corks and bring us some cupcakes. We’re celebrating. It’s official. Women are better at parking then men.

Finally, we hold the ultimate trump card. So they climbed Mount Everest before us and can run the 100 metres in under 10 seconds, who cares. When it comes to pulling a parallel park with grace and ease, us girls have it in the bag.

And we’re not making this up for the sake of an ego boost. A study conducted by English garage operator NCP found that while men can park faster, women take more care in finding a space, moving the car into position and ensuring it’s centrally placed. It’s called ‘multi-tasking’ gents. Look it up.

Overall, women scored 13.4 points out of 20, compared to the men’s measly 12.3. The study also suggested that men ‘pose park’, picking smaller more difficult parking spots to impress their female passengers.

Clearly women don't feel the need to show off behind the wheel in nailing that rock-star park and we're all the better for it.
