Teach your children about recycling and helping the planet with Charlie and Lola in this completely brilliant story based on the hit TV series.
The plot...
Lola is clearing out some of her old things because she doesn’t want her bedroom to ever get as messy and pongy as Marv's older brother Marty's bedroom – yuk!
Charlie persuades Lola that instead of throwing her things away, she should recycle them. With a bit of help from Charlie, Lola learns all about recycling and how it’s extremely important to look after our planet. Soon she has found an extra-specially fun way to do more recycling – and gets lots of her classmates to join in too! RRP $19.95.
Review
This book is adorable and teaches children to be environmentally responsible. Tips in the book include: turning off the tap while brushing teeth, switching off lights when leaving a room, having a shower instead of a bath sometimes, re-use plastic bags, and more simple things kids can do.
It teaches children about what recycling is, how it works, and how they can do it – all within a very cute, Charlie and Lola story.
It also comes with a fold-out ‘Tree Counter’ poster where they stick paper leaves on every time they find something to recycle (which is something the characters do in the book). SO cute! 5/5.
