As an inherently lazy human being, I’m not overjoyed at the idea of going to the gym. Exercise alone is hard enough without the added logistical effort required to be a regular gym-goer. No surprise then that my preferred method for working up a sweat is one where I don’t have to move further than my backyard.
True, I have dabbled in the fandangled machines from Danoz Direct (who can resist those hypnotising advertorials?) but, after an awkward incident with the famed Pilates Power Gym, I have since gone back to basics.
Now I get all my fitness needs from this nifty Spalding set that I can keep in the back of the car; including a fitball, skipping rope and yoga mat – the work out variations are endless!
